Karren Brady says that Chelsea want to share the Olympic Stadium with West Ham United in 2018.

Karren Brady has revealed in her football diary in The Sun that London rivals Chelsea have made an approach to West Ham United to share the Olympic Stadium.
West Ham are leaving the Boleyn Ground and will move to the Olympic Stadium next season.
Chelsea are at Stamford Bridge at the moment, but they are planning to move to a brand new stadium.
West Ham vice-chairman Brady has revealed that the Blues have made an approach to share the Olympic Stadium in 2018.
“Chelsea asked to come and have a look at our new home and I showed their people around,” the 47-year-old wrote in her football diary in The Sun (Monday, May 9 entry). “They commented it was one of the best football stadia in the world and that’s because it is.
“I have very good relations with Chelsea and, yes, they have enquired about a ground share in 2018. Any final decision on letting the Blues move in will be ours and not the London Legacy Development Corporation’s, or indeed Chelsea’s.”
West Ham are having a great season and could find themselves playing in the Europa League next season.
Moving to the Olympic Stadium is massive for the London outfit, who have already sold over 52,000 season tickets.

It would be the wrong move in my book.
We need to spend the first few years establishing it as our ground. That will not happen if we let another club in so early.

Is there any benefit to us in having them there?
I don't imagine so.
If we do have any sort of say I would be all in favour of us encouraging them before deciding at the last minute not to allow them access and restricting their options.
They can go to Milton Keynes with Spurs

I couldn't really careless if they share it or not. I might feel different in time, but at the moment it doesn't feel like our ground, our home so who cares who uses it.
As for who has the final say - I can't believe she is right about it being ours.

Next season our gate is likely to be about fifty per cent more than Chelsea's. In my book that makes them a smaller club.
